- Lions Racing
- Racetech Racint Team (without car)

Events like these are a great chance for the teams to test their cars. Additionally, the feedback they get from other teams helps a lot for the  upcoming Races.

Best Video of the week is from the Auckland team. They modified their 2007 car into a race simulator. Know they can better prepair their drivers and got a eye-catcher for team presentations.

Formula SAE week 25+26 in review
Tuesday, 30 June 2009 10:16

From June, 17th to 20th was the 3rd competition of the year. Only 45  from 81 registered teams find the way to California. What are the reason for this enormous loss? It can`t be only the financial crisis? First time in FSAE history we could follow live via twitter all news just seconds after something happens at the track. Many thanks to all mini journalists.

Congratulations to overall winner Rochester Institute of Technology. It was a close fight with Oregon State University or conventional car(RIT: spaceframe 4 cylinder) vs ultra light(OSU: monocoque single cylinder). At Brake Test Oregon State had a suspension failure but also finished in design 2nd. After the event a discussion started at fsae.com if a car with such a failure can get so many points in design. Another great topic started: does Formula SAE/Student teams still builts cars for the weekend autocross racer?

We just get shocked after searching for news at the FSAE CAL competitors websites before the event started. Only 3 teams wrote at least one article in June. 5 Teams last posting was from May all other other gots older updates, some were from 2008! Show the world what you are doing. Sponsors, university members, team-alumni, parents and friends are not the only interested people.

Video of the weeks: surely not the best quality but the top candidates from CAL at Endurance.

The SAE rules committee published first rule changes for 2010. Final version comes at the end of August.

There was another update at Formula Student Germany waiting lists. Only 3 teams left with aspirations to attempt competition.

Virtual Formula simulation contest(by VI-grade) was won by Sicily Team Motorsport.

We added the shop-webcam from UTSA at our overview. Now you can follow 12 teams!

new cars:
- MFThree - Mainfranken Racing

- C09 Leopard - CAT Racing

- PW 4.09 - municHMotorsport

- Sleek - BA Engineering

- eac06 - Ecurie Aix

- TAU Racing Car - tauracing

- BRC09 - FHTW Motorsport

- RP09 - Dynamics

- FR09 - Elefant Racing
