Environmentally friendly vehicles with less fuel consumes becam more and more important. Even in racing, this issue arrived. If this issue is still with the Formula SAE connect, so does the students enthusiastic motorsport course even more fun. The industry is obviously pleased, because they are constantly looking for new innovations to more effective vehicles to be able to produce. From 4th-9th May the 4th Formula Hybrid competition will take place at the New Hamphire Motor Speedway. With 31 registered teams a new record. Compared to 2008 there were only 14 teams!Particularly gratifying is the participation of teams from Canada (2), India (2), Taiwan (1) and Russia, the wide road to Loudon to take. |

The challenge:
- Optimize the performance of a virtual race car and minimize the lap time on a given autocross track.
- Competition will be won by the team able to provide back to VI-grade the vehicle with the shortest laptime on the given circuit.
